ALYXHealthcare
In ALYX, each appointment goes from the schedule to the accountant.
ALYX is the clinic management platform we built, from scheduling to the accounting balance sheet. Eight areas that many clinics keep in separate systems run on one base, with AI in the consulting room and a demo open to anyone.

The starting point
The ALYX website describes the routine the product replaces. The schedule sits in a booking system, medical records in other software and inventory in an Excel spreadsheet. Billing runs on a generic ERP and finance on yet another system. Accounting is exported by hand, and so is reconciliation, every month.
A single appointment passes through almost all of those places. A vaccine that has been given has to leave inventory, become a charge, enter the cash book and reach the accounting entry. With each step in a different program, someone on the team types the same data more than once.

What we built
ALYX brings together eight areas that exchange data with each other:
- Clinic: scheduling, appointments, medical records and SADT forms.
- Supplies: inventory drawn down with each procedure, vaccines, kits and CFOP.
- Billing: health plans, payouts, claim denials and the Brasíndice table.
- Finance: cash flow, accounts payable and receivable, NF and RPS.
- Accounting: income statement (DRE), reconciliation, entries and an export for the accountant.
- Master data: 24 types.
- Reports: more than 30 templates, with export to CSV, XLSX and PDF and a connection to Power BI.
- Notifications: automatic WhatsApp and email.
In the public demo, the menu has 12 entries: the eight areas plus Vacina, Resultados, Suporte and Administração. A command palette (⌘K or Ctrl+K) opens any screen by name or by loose words, such as “lote”, “caixa” or “PNI”.
In the consulting room, the appointment works like this:
- The AI transcribes the consultation in real time into the fields for chief complaint, history of present illness, nursing notes and incidents.
- With the transcript ready, it organizes the clinical information.
- The diagnostic hypotheses block uses ICD-10.
- The “Finalizar e gerar prontuário” button closes the record.
Clinical documentation time drops by up to 70%.

Vaccination on shared services
Vaccination has its own module, with tables, scheduling (including home visits), appointments, a call panel, the patient’s vaccination card and follow-up. Inventory, finance and notifications come from the same services that support the rest of the platform.
That is why a vaccine is an inventory item in Supplies, alongside medications and kits, and each dose given is written off like any procedure. The charge goes to the clinic’s finance area, and the patient’s follow-up goes out through the WhatsApp and email notifications.
Dose schedules can be configured by special group, with no clinical rule fixed in the code. When a vaccine’s calendar changes, the clinic adjusts the configuration without waiting for a new version of the system. The SI-PNI table and the export to PNI are also on the platform.
These services live on a NestJS back end on PostgreSQL, with queues in BullMQ and Redis. The interface is in Next.js, and the application runs in Docker containers.

Billing, claim denials and accounting
A finished appointment moves on to billing. For health plans, ALYX generates the SADT form in the ANS/TISS standard and uses the Brasíndice table. Central de Glosas tracks registered claim denials, open appeals and the recovery rate for each health plan. Claim denial management recovers up to 23% of denied revenue.
Physician payouts sit in billing, and bank reconciliation in finance. The results module holds the income statement (DRE) and the Dashboard Estratégico. The dashboard shows the profit on each appointment (accounting revenue minus payouts and estimated COGS), with totals by health plan and by doctor and a filter by branch. A per-branch consolidated view brings the units together.
In the management dashboards, such as billing, the Análise IA button generates a report with an action plan. The data is anonymized before sending, in accordance with LGPD, Brazil’s data protection law. Each operation also goes into the audit log, which records date, action, entity and user and refreshes every 5 seconds.

Where it stands today
ALYX is live at alyxmed.com.br and has more than 500 active clinics, more than 2 million appointments managed and 99.9% uptime. The demo, at demo.alyxmed.com.br, opens with no sign-up and runs in demo mode, where no data is saved to the database. On a phone, the same application swaps the side menu for a bottom bar with Pacientes, Agenda, Atender and Mais.
Like all the software we deliver, ALYX went through security testing on our pentest server before going live. The platform has LGPD compliance, AES-256 encryption in transit and at rest, daily backups with 90-day retention and multi-factor authentication.
